I have always been fascinated by Neytiri, the brave and beautiful heroine of Avatar. She is a strong and loyal leader of her clan. I wanted to capture her spirit and grace in this fan art piece. I used photoshop to paint realistic portrait of her face, with her striking yellow eyes and blue skin. I also added some details of her braids and feathers to show her connection to nature and Eywa. In this I paint form grayscale to color by using gradient maps and various blending mode like overlay, hardlight and multiply to get these details .
